Exquisite Wrought-Iron Sculpture for the Home and Garden
The contrasting aesthetics of textured steel and raw glass materials set Joeann's designs apart, creating an instant showpiece for the modern home and garden. Enhance your home or garden with sculpture of all sizes. Many sculptures incorporate illumination, through glass or lighting. Joeann creates pieces that are functional as well as decorative.
Genetti Gardens & Gallery began two decades ago with Joeann arranging plants and sculpture in her Wisconsin gardens. As an iron artist and working horticulturist, she is a master in designing specialty gardens. Visit Genetti Gardens to experience the love and wisdom Joeann brings to her work. Exquisite wrought-iron sculpture and lighting gracefully enhance gardens of all sizes.
METAL WORK & WELDING
Joeann uses a combination of Mig wire welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-acetyline torch to form and shape iron and steel into the sculptures inhabiting the studio and gardens. We use recycled and salvaged materials whenever possible to keep a small carbon footprint.
IMPORTED GLASS
Sourced from both North America and Asia, our raw glass chunks (known as slag glass) are each unqiue and come in a variety of size, shape, and color. Clients can choose which glass pieces they would like to be incorporated into a special, personalized sculpture.
GARDEN FEATURES
Our sculptures bring color in to your gardens all year round. The unique glass and metal designs will provide you with a conversation piece and source of artistic inspiration and beauty. Genetti Gardens bird baths attract birds to rest in both summer and winter.
Commissioned Work
Joeann has deep experience with guiding clients through the design process to arrive at a distinct piece of art that meets all of their aesthetic goals and becomes an expression of their personal style. We can begin the conversation with a tour of the current pieces in the gallery and gardens, and begin to develop ideas around color, size, lighting, and movement.
About the Artist
Joeann Genetti-Teeple
ARTIST | SCULPTOR | MASTER GARDENER
Joeann began working with sculpture while getting her art degree at UW-Whitewater. After taking a break from art to get a degree in horticulture from Cincinatti Technical College, she returned to sculpture and metalworking became her primary focus as she continued her welding education at WCTC in Waukesha.
With all of the technical knowledge acquired, Joeann set out to take the simple raw elements of metal and glass or dirt and plants and turn them into captivating sculptures and gorgeous gardens.
